Sarah M. "Sally" Buzzinotti

Sarah Marie “Sally” (Duncan) Buzzinotti, 89 of Black Lick, PA passed away Monday, October 9, 2023, at her home.

Born June 29, 1934, in Black Lick, PA, she was the daughter of Arthur and Vernie I. (Howard) Duncan.

Sally worked as a seamstress.  She loved to travel and work around her house.

Surviving is a daughter, Theresa L. Buzzinotti (companion, Jeff Gray) of New Bern, NC; two step-children, Dawn Dunsmore (Bob) of Brush Valley, and Mike Buzzinotti of Johnstown; four grandchildren, Michael Buzzinotti II, Jill Dunsmore Cochran, James Dunmore, and Matthew Dunsmore; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ellen Miller of Black Lick; a sister-in-law, Lynda Buzzinotti Purcell; a special nephew, Dr. Adam Buzzinotti Purcell of Rollesville, NC and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James G. Buzzinotti, on July 6, 2021, her first husband, Eddy Bondra, three brothers, Clarence Duncan, Leroy Duncan, and Arthur Duncan, five sisters, Lilly Duncan, Pearl Stitt, Velma Deemer, Ethel Bailey, and Nora Jean Krouse.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 12th from 6 to 8 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville.  A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11 AM with Pastor Joshua Reid officiating.

Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.

In honor of Sally, her family is asking for everyone to dress in pink.
