Terry Lee Nestor, 84, of Greenwood, DE, formerly of Blairsville, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at home.
The son of Leslie A. and Frances (Gardill) Nestor, he was born on January 14, 1941, in Duquesne, PA.
Terry was a veteran of the US Air Force, and he worked at U.S. Steel in Homestead for 28 years until his retirement in 1984.
He was a member of the NRA and VFW Post #7478 Greenwood, DE.
Surviving is his daughter, Debra L. Nestor (John Patty) of Greenwood, DE; his son, Brian L. Nestor of Shadyside; two nephews; and his beloved canine companions, Jake, Cooper, and Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 52 years, Sandra L. (Bower) Nestor on October 20, 2013, and his sister, Lorna Hutton.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 17, 2025, from 12 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville with Pastor John Manon officiating.
Interment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
