Todd F. Mitchell

Todd Franklin Mitchell, 47, of Blairsville, PA (Burrell Twp.) passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2024, in Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.

The son of Harold D. and Martha B. (Steiner) Mitchell, he was born on April 19, 1977, in Johnstown, PA. 

Todd graduated from United High School, Class of 1995 and was employed by Ron Anthony Wood Products. 

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working on anything electrical, working on cars, and sitting by the campfire. Todd absolutely loved his children and took much pride in providing for his family and the people he cared about. He took any chance he could to crack a joke with his kids.

Todd is survived by three children, Tyler S. Mitchell (August) of Greensburg, Olivia M. Mitchell of Blairsville, and Caleb D. Mitchell (Autumn) of Blairsville; seven siblings, Carrie Mitchell of Brush Valley, Greg Mitchell (Donna) of Blairsville, Jeff Mitchell (Sandy) of Armagh, Scott Mitchell (Tammy) of Seward, Lou Ann “Chick” Quick of Clearfield County, Kate (Brian) Roberts of Bald Hill, and Dave Mitchell of Clearfield; and one grandchild, Faye Ann-Lynn Mitchell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sabrina (Kolenovic) Mitchell on May 4, 2019, and a sister, Sue Mitchell.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 30th, from 5 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7 PM at the Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA with Rev. Dr. Paul Morris officiating.
