Vivian Lee (Gordish) Decker, 83, of Blairsville, PA (Black Lick Twp.) passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024, in Bethlen Home Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Ligonier, PA.

The daughter of Theodore Gordish Sr. and Julia (Toldi) Gordish, she was born on September 7, 1940 in Indiana, PA.

Vivian graduated from Laura Lamar High School, Class of 1958 and was employed by Torrance State Hospital as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She also spent a short time in Florida where she was a manager for RCA Computers.

In her spare time, Vivian enjoyed reading, gardening, being in nature and foraging for ginseng.

Surviving is her son, Christopher L. Decker of Blairsville, and a brother, Theodore Gordish Jr. of Kent, three granddaughters, Molly Mibroda of Brush Valley, Addie Decker of Strongstown and Rebecca Mack (Zane) of Strongstown; four great grandchildren, Akina, Alexandria, Lucas, and Viola; and son Ron’s companion of many years, Carol McAtee of Strongstown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Harry L. Decker on October 6, 2015, a son, Ronald Decker, two sisters, Ramona Coushin and Pearl Gordish, and a brother, Edward Gordish.

Per Vivian’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral services.
